About Thermoplastic Pumps
The selection logic has two layers: the magnetic coupling removes the leak path and the plastic body removes corrosion. Sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, caustic solutions, plating baths and wastewater treatment chemicals are typical fields for this combination.
Models in our catalog offer flows of 13–110 m³/h at 50 Hz and 14–130 m³/h at 60 Hz, with heads of 25–60 m. System pressure is 4–10 bar depending on material and model. The temperature limit depends on material: -30 °C to 90 °C for PVDF and -30 °C to 40 °C for PP. Specific gravity handled is up to 2 kg/dm³ and viscosity up to 2,000 cPs (with an 8-pole motor). The GPP vane model can start dry against up to 2.5 m of water.
The series includes centrifugal (GPC), regenerative turbine (GPT) and positive-displacement vane (GPP) constructions — a turbine is preferred where low flow and high head are needed, a centrifugal at high flow. For material–fluid compatibility see our chemical compatibility chart.
