About Controllers and Sensors

The accuracy of a dosing system depends less on the pump than on the accuracy of measurement: the control unit compares the value read by the probe with the setpoint and drives the pump accordingly. Probe selection, calibration routine and measuring range can therefore matter more than the pump's flow rate.

Units in our catalog measure pH (0–14 pH ± 0.01), ORP (± 2,000 mV), electrical conductivity (0.054–200,000 µS), dissolved oxygen (0–20 ppm), free chlorine (0–200 ppm), amperometric chlorine (0–5 ppm), bromine (0–10 ppm), ozone, hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid (0–99,000 ppm), turbidity (0–4,000 NTU), suspended solids (0–30 g), temperature (-50–150 °C ± 0.1 °C) and flow.

The units run on a 100–240 V 50/60 Hz supply and are IP65 rated. Calibration solutions allow regular calibration to prevent the probe reading from drifting over time — maintaining dosing accuracy depends on this.
