About Special Pumps
The reason this class exists is to preserve the sealless design even under the most demanding conditions. A mechanically sealed pump faces seal life and leakage risk problems at 350 °C or 250 bar; with a magnetic coupling there is no shaft penetration at all, so the problem is removed at the design stage.
Models in our catalog offer a maximum operating temperature of 350 °C, a design temperature of 400 °C and fluid temperatures up to 450 °C. Maximum pressure is 250 bar with a test pressure of 375 bar.
The GPCA / GPCAV model configured for liquid metal transfer also belongs to this group. Selection in this equipment class is not made from a catalog: the fluid, its temperature profile, pressure and commissioning conditions are assessed together. If you send us the conditions of your application, we can clarify the appropriate configuration together.
