Lobe blowers are positive displacement machines that move large volumes of air with two rotors turning without contact. The catalog covers two rotor types: helical lobe (HLB) and tri-lobe (TLB).

About Lobe Blower
The two types differ in flow smoothness. In the classic two-lobe design a set number of pulses occurs per revolution; the tri-lobe design makes these pulses more frequent and lower in amplitude, while helical cutting spreads each transition over time. The result is quieter operation and less vibration in the pipework.
The HLB and TLB models in our catalog offer capacities from 1,900 m³/h to 13,000 m³/h. Standard production is direct-coupled and water-cooled; belt-driven, inverter-controlled and thermostatically protected versions can also be built.
Because the rotors do not touch, no lubrication is needed in the compression space and the conveyed air stays oil-free. Wastewater aeration, pneumatic conveying and process air are this group's typical applications.
