Blowers

Side channel blowers work by a high-speed impeller accelerating air repeatedly along the side channel in the housing. The same machine can be used on both the pressure and the vacuum side. The catalog covers single-, double- and triple-stage models.

About Blowers

The impeller touches no surface: there are no wearing parts, no lubrication is required, and maintenance needs are therefore close to zero. Because the conveyed air never contacts oil, it stays clean and dry. The die-cast aluminium housing keeps the machine light, and quiet operation is an advantage in facilities where ambient noise matters.

Models in our catalog offer flow rates from 40 m³/h to 1,370 m³/h. They operate from 70 mbar to 1,050 mbar on the pressure side and from -60 mbar to -500 mbar on the vacuum side. Connection sizes run from 1" to 5" and noise level is 46–84 dBA; motors are configured as single-phase or three-phase.

As the number of stages increases, the pressure attainable at the same flow rises: single-stage models are for high volume at low pressure, triple-stage models for applications demanding higher pressure. Typical uses are vacuum holding and lifting, wastewater aeration, drying and pneumatic conveying.
