Drum pumps are a type of pump designed to discharge fluids from containers. The transfer process is carried out by immersing the pump pipe into the vessel containing the fluid. The biggest difference of barrel pumps from other pumps is that the pump motor does not come into contact with the fluid in any way. In containers such as tanks, IBCs, barrels, liquid soap, honey, chocolate, molasses, cream, jelly, paste, glue, jam, shampoo, paint etc. as well as fluids. Drum pumps offer the most effective solution for discharging such fluids. Drum pumps are very effective in discharging fluids with high viscosity from containers. Since the transfer of dense products is difficult in such closed containers, barrel pumps provide a lot of convenience to the user. At the same time, depending on the chemical properties of the fluid to be transferred, barrel pumps have SS316, Polypropylene, aluminum and PVDF body options. Drum pumps with monopump feature are used in products with high viscosity. The rotor and stator are located at the bottom of the pump instead of the fan. Rotor material is standard SS316 quality. The stator is used in different options such as PTFE, NBR and EPDM.
